Is This a Good Deal? Amazon Price Checker

Paste any Amazon product link. We show today's price against its 30-day and 90-day average and all-time low, and tell you if the "sale" is real.

Retailers love to show a big “was” price next to a sale. The problem: that list price is often a number the product never actually sold for. Paste any Amazon link above and we compare today’s price with what the product really cost over the last 30 and 90 days, plus its all-time low.

How to read the result

  • All-time low — the cheapest it has ever been in our records.
  • Lowest price in 90 days — ties the best price of the last three months.
  • Real drop — at least 10% below its usual price.
  • Good, not great — a small dip; fine if you need it now.
  • Fake sale — the “discount” is measured from an inflated list price. It is selling at its normal price.
  • Wait — at or above normal. Set an alert and let the price come to you.
All-time low

The lowest price we have on record for this product.

Lowest price in 90 days

Matches the lowest price of the last 90 days.

Real drop

At least 10% below what it usually sold for over the last 90 days.

Good, not great

A little below its usual price. Fine if you need it now.

Fake sale

Shown as a discount off the list price, but it is the same price it has been selling for.

Wait — normal price

At or above its usual price. History says it drops lower.
